From Anchorage, Alaska, to Vernon, Vermont, there are numerous local and nationwide businesses that offer savings to AAA members through the Show Your Card & Save program. Before you travel, check what is available in your destination city. Here's how to do that online.

Visit www.aaa.com/save, and choose "By City" or "By Country" from the left-hand menu.

Searching for San Francisco, for example, shows more than 100 places where you can save money as a AAA member. They include restaurants such as Castagnola's at Fisherman's Wharf, attractions such as the Red & White Fleet's Golden Gate Bay cruise, and items to make your visit go smoother—did you know you can get two hours of free parking at the Pier 39 garage by showing your AAA card? National savings partners in San Francisco include well-known retail, hotel and restaurant chains.

International savings partners include hotels, rental cars, tour packages, sports equipment rentals, museums, attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Here in Colorado, there are more than 60 Show Your Card & Save partners in the Denver metro area alone.
