Denver and the Democratic Convention

In late August 2008, an expected 35,000 people will attend the Democratic National Convention in Denver. If you intend to visit Denver next August for the convention or for other reasons, it's best to make plans now.

"Just about every hotel in the metro area will be booked," says Angela Berardino, of the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Early booking is strongly encouraged."
