Safety for mature drivers

Drivers 55 and over can check their driving skills and qualify for discounts on auto insurance premiums by completing AAA Colorado's new online mature driver safety course, "I Drive Safely."

The course can be completed at your own pace from the comfort of your home. It aims to help mature drivers in the following ways:

Fine-tune driving skills and update knowledge of the rules of the road.

Learn more about normal age-related physical changes, and how to adapt and compensate for these changes to allow continued safe driving.

Reduce the risk of traffic violations, crashes and other chances for injuries. Details and registration information can be found at www.aaa.com/seniors. The course cost is $15.95 for AAA members and $19.95 for non-members. "I Drive Safely" offers live customer service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Following completion of the course, a certificate is issued to notify your insurance carrier that you are eligible for premium discounts.
