Web tool for car repairs

AAA members who perform their own vehicle maintenance now have access to professional, comprehensive auto repair information online. eAutoRepair provides service information on more than 13,000 cars, light trucks, vans, minivans and SUVs from 1983 through 2005.

The tool is available on a subscription basis. Members receive a 30% discount on the public rate. In addition to repair instructions, it specifies the level of skill required for the repair so that the user can determine if it is within his or her own ability, or if it's best to take the vehicle to an Approved Auto Repair shop instead.

To find eAutoRepair, visit www.aaa.com, click on "Automotive" then choose "Repair & Maintenance" from the left-hand menu.
