Busy season for TripTiks

TRAVEL—Every day, thousands of members turn to their local AAA office for maps, driving directions and other travel information. May through August is the busiest time of year for TripTiks as members plan their summer drive trips.

After a TripTik order is received, AAA Colorado staff strive for a turnaround time of 24 hours to start producing it. The TripTik normally reaches the member by mail within seven to ten days of ordering.

The TripTik Travel Planner offers members a quick alternative way to plan an entire trip. A number of enhancements have been made this year to the online TripTik, including:

A new-look, simplified user interface.
Customized points of interest, including hotels, restaurants and attractions, can now be added to maps. Printouts of custom maps will also show TourBook information about these selections.
A new Travel Guide section has information on more than 65 popular destinations. Content includes "Don't Miss Picks," tips and insider information provided by AAA travel editors.
The route modification tool now has a drag-and-drop feature that allows the user to reroute directions with one click.
