Free travel accident coverage

TRAVEL—Many members don't realize that AAA Colorado automatically provides them with $100,000 of travel accident insurance coverage when travel reservations are made through AAA's travel agency.

The program covers a traveler for accidental loss of life, limbs, sight, speech or hearing. Coverage applies when traveling as a passenger on land, sea or air transport, and when driving or riding in a rental car, provided the transport was booked through AAA.

The automatic free coverage is not comprehensive travel insurance, which should be purchased separately if desired.
