'Tis the season … to shop outdoors.

The Longmont Farmers' Market will host three fine arts and crafts fairs this summer on July 26, Aug. 30 and Sept. 27. They'll be morning affairs and feature artists in blown and stained glass, knitting and yarn-making, handmade accessories and jewelry, stationery and more. And speaking of gifts …. If you're looking for a quilt, head down to the annual Land of Rainbow Quilt Festival, Aug. 29–Sept. 1, in Gunnison and Crested Butte. Not only can you shop for unique quilts and fabric arts, but you can hear live music and enjoy all sorts of fabric-related festivities. 970-641-4029.
