AAA Mobile adds new features

AUTOMOTIVE-AAA Mobile recently added several new enhancements to its range of services. Subscribers can now use the downloadable cell phone application to search for gas prices in selected locations, get real-time traffic updates, movie times, weather information and even send their current location to other AAA Mobile users.

Current users can upgrade to the latest version of AAA Mobile at no additional charge. They will receive a prompt on their phone when the new version is available to download.

Available on more than 70 devices through Verizon Wireless, Sprint and Alltel Wireless-with additional carriers planned in the future-the AAA Mobile GPS Navigation for cell phones, PDAs and BlackBerry devices already offers audible turn-by-turn directions similar to portable GPS devices and in-car navigation systems, along with GPS-enabled member roadside assistance. It also gives the user information on thousands of Show Your Card & Save locations, hotels, restaurants, events, attractions and full-color maps.
