Winter Park Ski Area, Colorado

Winter Park is only 67 miles from Denver, is family friendly, and offers an incredible variety of terrain spread across five mountains. At 3,060 acres, Winter Park Resort is BIG. Combine this with over 3,000 ft of vertical and 30 ft of snow annually and there are the makings for a great ski trip full of every desired terrain. The terrain is 8% beginner, 36% intermediate, and 56% advanced with a 9,000' base elevation.

Ski School

Winter Park Resort\'s Ski & Ride School is considered one of the best in the country. There is a class for everyone, including specialty clinics and kids lessons. Salomon Learn to Ski™ and Burton Learn to Ride™ are great ways for beginners to be on the mountain in no time. Group, private, individual, family or First Tracks private lessons are also available. Rates depend on type and length of class.

Child Care

Child Care is available during ski season for ages 2 months to 6 years. Please bring diapers, a change of clothes and familiar items such as blanket, pacifier or favorite toy. A complimentary pager is provided for peace of mind. Child Care is located in the Kids Adventure Junction Center at the base of Winter Park. Reservations are required and are available by calling 800.420.8093 at least 48 hours in advance.
