Durango Mtn. Ski Area, Colorado

Purgatory Mountain, just 25 miles north of Durango, Colorado, offers a slice of heaven with a western twist in Southwest Colorado. Jean-Claude Killy called the area the most beautiful this side of the Italian Alps. The terrain is 23% beginners, 51% intermediate, and 26% advanced with an 8,793' base elevation.
